An unforgettable part of the Neveh program is our trip to Poland. The trip challenges our students to enter history and understand a world that was destroyed. They experience first hand the strength and heroism of our people and are able to view their own personal lives as connected to the chain of Jewish history. The impact of this experience creates memories leading to a revitalized commitment to Judaism and the Jewish People.
Our students are encouraged to understand the yearning and sacrifice of our grandparents to maintain their faith under insurmountable conditions and form a strong basis on which to focus and shape their view of life. They become acquainted with the rich Jewish heritage that existed in Eastern Europe and gain a deeper appreciation for some of the greatest leaders of the yeshivah and Chassidic worlds while attempting to rediscover the dynamic Torah life of pre-war Europe.
